Job Description:

Komodo Consulting is a technology and strategy firm specializing in Digital Transformation. Operating in Portugal and Poland, we provide IT Consulting & Nearshore services. We support both public and private sector organizations through two main areas:

  • Consulting — with a focus on strategy, investment analysis, and digital process improvement;

  • IT Team Augmentation — helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams.


The Project
We are seeking a Mendix Developer to work on a project for a Technology Company.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Mendix applications for our clients;

  • Model and develop Mendix solutions in line with low-code and model-driven development best practices;

  • Connect Mendix applications with external systems and services through REST APIs;

  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to planning, reviews, and retrospectives;

  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust Mendix solutions;

  • Monitor new Mendix features and promote platform and development best practices within the team.


You need to have the following skills/experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or comparable experience in low-code development;

  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with the Mendix platform and Mendix Advanced Developer certification;

  • Solid knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and SCSS;

  • Strong experience integrating REST APIs and working with enterprise-grade systems, along with familiarity with Agile delivery practices;

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative, growth-oriented approach;

  • Fluency in English (mandatory), with French considered an advantage;

  • Experience developing Mendix pluggable widgets or custom Java actions;

  • Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, or other large-scale enterprise platforms.


Location
Lisbon, Coimbra, or Braga (Hybrid - 2 days per week at the office).
